UNILINE prints your packaging with text, graphics and barcodes and in many cases can replace expensive labels as the information transmitter. The choice of print head for the UNILINE allows production of text in font heights from 2 to 48 mm. Additionaly every font can be in a different style and barcodes, company logos, pictograms, approval marks, product information etc can be included. Optimum print quality is maintained at high production speeds. Print Technology The UNILINE print head nozzle plate consists of 96, 192, or 352 nozzles which are fed by 32 ink channels. Piezo Electric transducers are located in the ink channels. When these receive an electrical impulse they squeeze the channel expelling an ink droplet which forms the print. The ink is gravity fed and therefore a pump is not required. The system requires a minimum of service. Out special inks are mostly solvent free. They dry on all porous materials, as well as non-porous surfaces when assisted with heat to aid drying. Data Entry Data, text for printing and graphics are entered on the integrated membrane key-board. Above the keypad is the back lit graphic LC display. UNILINE can be linked to your internal data network via its RS-232 or RS-422 interface. Automatic Functions Date, time, numbering and further automatic functions can be incorporated into text. PC Program As an option a PC program which runs under Windows® can be delivered. It can be used to import text layouts and graphics.
